Bishkek, May 30, 2018 / Kabar /. The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) will be held in Bishkek for the first time.
Deputy head of the Kyrgyz Parliament’s Office Tazhimamat Shabolotov believes that the autumn session of the OSCE PA will make a huge contribution to strengthening democratic foundations and the development of the institution of parliamentarism in the country.
Recalling that the autumn session of the OSCE PA will be held on 3-6 October 2018, Shabolotov said that delegates from 57 countries of Europe, Asia and North America are expected to attend the session.
"In the course of preparation, we faced a rather large scope of tasks to address a number of infrastructure, organizational, technical and financial problems," he said, adding that all these issues are being considered promptly.
Shabolotov stressed the importance of the forthcoming meeting of the OSCE PA. He said that this event will be a platform for dialogue for participating countries, and the conducting of the session will make a huge contribution to strengthening democratic foundations and development of the institution of parliamentarism in the country.
Moreover, Shabolotov stressed that Kyrgyzstan will have great opportunities to show its tourist and investment attractiveness.
