Bishkek, April 6, 2022 / Kabar /. Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov today met with head of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, Ambassador Alexei Rogov, the press service of the ministry reported.
During the meeting, the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek handed over 9 vehicles to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, seven are intended for mobile police receptions, two - for the tourist and environmental police.
As part of the Public Safety Initiative project, mobile police receptions were launched in Kyrgyzstan. They are designed to receive residents living in remote areas, in addition, they effectively prevent crime and delinquency.
From 2011 to the present, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has received 39 mobile police receptions from the OSCE. 10 vehicles have been allocated from the internal reserve of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, thus, 49 mobile police receptions are working in Kyrgyzstan.
During the event, Ulan Niyazbekov thanked the OSCE for its support and expressed readiness to continue working together to ensure law and order and public security.

I would like to thank the Ambassador and the OSCE Program Office for providing significant assistance not only in the fight against crime, but also in maintaining the country's environmental security. We thank you and the OSCE community for fruitful joint work and effective cooperation,” the minister said.
The OSCE Program Office in Bishkek highly appreciates the efforts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to strengthen close cooperation with civil society and international organizations.
