Bishkek, Dec. 10, 2020 / Kabar /. Chief of the Kyrgyz Government’s Office, Minister Baktybek Amanbaev held a meeting with Head of the Program Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Bishkek, Ambassador Pierre von Arx, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The Kyrgyz official expressed gratitude to the OSCE for the assistance and support to the state.
“We are grateful for the assistance provided during this difficult time. The role of the OSCE, as one of the key international organizations providing assistance in the development of the country, is very high,” he said.
Baktybek Amanbaev dwelled on the priority areas of the Kyrgyz government.
“Currently, work is underway to optimize the structure of the government, which will take place in three stages. In order to create a transparent and accountable public administration system, we are determined to carry out fundamental reforms in all spheres of state life with the involvement of independent international experts. We have taken a course to search for fundamentally new methods of organizing the system of public administration, which will meet the requirements of the time and the expectations of citizens for the education of an efficiently working executive branch,” said the head of the government’s office.
He said that an Interdepartmental Working Commission was formed to develop proposals for reforming the system of state bodies, within which working groups were created and independent experts were involved.
Head of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, Ambassador Pierre von Arx, in turn, noted the importance of high-quality and effective reforms in a number of areas, including in law enforcement agencies, judicial and administrative systems.
He expressed the organization's readiness to continue to support the state in the implementation of important priority areas.
