Bishkek, June 23, 2022. / Kabar /. Osh and Tashkent cities of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will develop bilateral relations in the socio-economic direction, the press service of the Osh Mayor’s Office reported.
Today, as part of the official trip of Osh Mayor Almaz Mambetov to Tashkent, a meeting was held with Mayor of Taskeny Jakhongir Artikkhodzhaev.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of bilateral relations, including in the field of socio-economic cooperation, exchange of experience in the field of urban planning and housing and communal services.
Almaz Mambetov thanked for the warm welcome and noted the importance of strengthening and developing bilateral ties, holding joint cultural and sports events, organizing business forums and tourism exhibitions.
“I would like to emphasize that the day before, within the framework of the implementation of the first project, a loan from the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Development Fund and a targeted transfer from the republican budget for the supply of 50 new multifunctional 16-seat buses of the ISUZU SAZ HC40 brand were approved,” the Osh mayor emphasized.
Also, the head of Tashkent proposed to develop cooperation in the field of opening joint ventures, organizing meetings of representatives of the business environment, implementing projects in the supply of elevator equipment.
Following the meeting, the sides expressed their intention to organize joint events for the exchange of experience, the adoption of innovative solutions implemented by the administration of the city of Tashkent on digitalization.
