Osh, Aug. 1, 2022. /Kabar/. Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Osh Oblast Ziyadin Dzhamaldinov received Deputy Head of Andijan Region of Uzbekistan Botirjon Khamraev, heads of Kurghantepe and Asaka districts of Andijan region.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of economy and tourism, works to be carried out in the framework of friendly relations between Osh Oblast and Andijan Region.
"Good conditions for mountain tourism are being created in Osh Oblast. We have many tourist attractions of interest to Uzbeks and foreign tourists. The purpose of today's meeting is to increase the number of tourists from Uzbekistan to Osh. That's why we have invited a delegation from Andijan Region to an event at Lenin Peak in Chong-Alay region. We will continue our efforts to develop the tourism industry and attract tourists", said Governor Dzhamaldinov.
A treaty on Friendship was signed between Osh Oblast and Andijan Region. Within its framework, a road map has been created and a number of works on bilateral cooperation are being carried out.
