Bishkek, July 22, 2020. /Kabar/. The city of Osh has sufficient number of ventilators and oxygen concentrators, Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashev told during a briefing.
The head of the municipality admitted that, indeed, at the beginning of the pandemic, there were not enough ventilators - only 30 units for the whole city.
"Now there are 310 oxygen concentrators available. 200 units were received from the state, and the rest from indifferent citizens. Athletes, businessmen, celebrities were helping us. I express deep gratitude to all our sponsors. On these difficult days for the country, the Kyrgyz people have shown their solidarity and unity," the Osh mayor said.
