Osh, March 29, 2021 / Kabar /. The Osh National Drama Theater hosted the exhibition “Kyrgyzstan is infinitely unique! Digital solutions for promoting domestic tourism”, where large travel companies and organizations belonging to the organization "Destination Osh" presented their compositions.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Osh Governor Baktybek Alaichiev, chief specialist of the Department of External Relations and Analytics of the Osh Mayor’s Office Maksat Orozaliev, Chairman of the Public Association “Destination Osh” Abdulkadyr Aliyev, representatives of more than 15 travel companies and organizations of the southern region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the event, a presentation of a 3D map of Kyrgyzstan by the author of the 3D Kyrgyzstan project, Maksat Konushaliyev, took place, who spoke about the stages of creating one of the most modern digital projects in the field of tourism - a 3D panoramic map of Kyrgyzstan's attractions, which is located on the website of the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture.
The idea of developing a 3D panoramic map belongs to Bishkek resident Maksat Konushaliev. For 10 months, he processed more than eight thousand photographs and went on a 40-day expedition.
“We wanted people to be able to fully immerse themselves in this place online. And the main goal was for people not only to see how beautiful it is here - to encourage them to come to Kyrgyzstan, visit each of its regions. The map will be a guidebook not only for foreign tourists, but also for all Kyrgyzstanis who would like to travel around their native country. Because very often there are people who have been to three or four countries of the world, but have not been to three or four regions of Kyrgyzstan,” Konushaliev noted during his speech.
During the virtual tour, you one can see the main sights, beautiful places and symbols of all regions of the country. Each object has a short description in three languages - Kyrgyz, Russian and English.
It is reported that the 3D map will contribute to the promotion of the tourism potential of the republic among foreign and local citizens, will help to receive the necessary information in advance through viewing high-quality photographic materials in 360 ° format.
