Tashkent, Jan. 25, 2018 / Kabar /. The regular meeting of the working groups of the governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border has been completed in Osh on Jan. 21, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.
During the talks, within four days, the sides continued working on the description of the remaining sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border.
"The meeting was held in the spirit of friendship and good-neighborliness," the Uzbek Ministry reported.
Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in 2017 signed the Treaty on the state border, which provides for the delimitation and subsequent demarcation of 85% of the border or 1170.5 km of 1378 km of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.
