Osh, July 12, 2019. /Kabar/. Mayor of Osh Taalaibek Sarybashov on July 11 held a meeting with Ambassador of India to Kyrgyzstan Alok Amitabh Dimri. During the meeting, the sides discussed various areas of bilateral cooperation, including the development of honey exports from Osh to India.
In his speech, Alok Amitabh Dimri noted that Osh honey is very popular in India and in accordance with the order of Prime Minister of India, cooperation in the field of supply of mountain honey from the Southern region of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Indian market will be improved.
In addition, during the meeting the sides discussed the development of ecotourism, as well as the possibility of shooting Bollywood films in the southern region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“I am struck by the natural beauty of southern Kyrgyzstan. It would be a great place to make films with Indian Bollywood actors. There is nature to show its beauty to the world,” Indian ambassador said.
In addition, Osh mayor took the initiative to increase the knowledge of young professionals in the field of medicine through the Indian Clinic Experience Exchange Program.
