Osh mayor holds meeting with heads of religious institutions of Kyrgyzstan

Osh, Dec. 18, 2020. /Kabar/. Mayor of the Osh city Taalaibek Sarybashov met on Friday with Head of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan Maksat azhy Tokomushev and with newly appointed Director of the State Commission on Religious Affairs Akin Toktaliyev.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of strengthening interethnic relations, development of brotherhood between nations and ethnic groups and plans of interaction on these issues.

Mayor Sarybashov noted the importance of religion as a factor of unification of nationalities to solve common issues and challenges facing the residents of Osh on the way to socio-economic development and improvement.
