Osh Mayor receives delegation from China’s Foshan city

Osh, Dec.13, 2019 /Kabar/. Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov on Thursday received an official delegation, headed by Qiao Yu, Deputy Mayor of China’s Foshan, sister city.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of bilateral relations in trade, culture, education and investment attraction.

Mayor Sarybashov noted the Osh city has a potential for processing agricultural and meat products.

In his turn, Foshan Deputy Mayor Qiao Yu expressed interest in exporting agricultural goods from Osh.

Then, the delegation went to the orphanages in the city, where they presented their gifts to children.

Further, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the technical condition of new hospital, built at the expense of China. There the delegation met with doctors and had a discussion.

Note that during the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), held in Bishkek on June 13, Osh Mayor Taalaibek Sarybashov signed memorandum on cooperation with three Chinese cities.
