Osh, Jan. 28, 2022 . / Kabar / . Deputy Mayor of Osh Venera Ryskulova held a meeting with heads of international and non-governmental organizations and public foundations operating in the city.
In her welcoming speech, the deputy mayor expressed gratitude to international organizations, non-governmental organizations and public foundations for the contribution they make to the development of health, medicine, education, culture, business, economy, digitalization, support of vulnerable populations.
It was especially noted that in order to develop tourism and promote the city in the international arena, a city brand called "Osh - Provider of the Great Silk Road" was developed.
During the meeting, heads of more than 30 organizations told about the work done in 2021 and plans for the current year to improve the areas of socio-economic sphere of the city, including the development of the tourism industry, support for health care, education, assistance to vulnerable segments of the population, support for initiatives of entrepreneurs, employment, youth support, gender equality, etc.
In addition, number of international organizations were awarded Certificates of Gratitude from the Osh Mayor’s Office for their contribution to the development of the socio-economic sphere of the city in 2021.
