Osh, Jan. 20, 2022 . / Kabar /. Deputy Mayor of Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city Venera Ryskulova held a meeting with UNICEF Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic Christine Jaulmes.
During the meeting, new Head of the Osh UNICEF Office Zhyldyz Moldokulova was introduced.
In her welcoming speech, Deputy Osh Mayor Ryskulova congratulated the new Head of the Osh Office on her appointment and on behalf of the southern capital’s Mayor Almaz Mambetov expressed gratitude to UNICEF for its contribution to the development of various social areas, including the health system.
"Osh Mayor’s Office is always ready to provide full support and is open to cooperation on the implementation of projects for the benefit of children and families. I am confident that this year our cooperation will reach a new level,” the deputy mayor said.
During the meeting, the sides debated joint projects and programs implemented in Osh by UNICEF, including projects to provide technical assistance to the city perinatal center, projects to introduce telemedicine approaches, the expected new phase of the project Child Friendly Cities and others.
