Osh, Jan. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. Yesterday delegation of Andijan State Medical Institute (ASMI) arrived in Osh State University (OSU). During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine.
Specifically the issues of exchange experience, academic mobility of students, ordinants, doctoral candidates, teachers, conducting joint research, holding scientific conferences, internships, cultural events, festivals and sports were discussed.
Following the meeting, an agreement was signed on bilateral cooperation between OSU and ASMI. It should be stressed that the exchange of students, teachers, exchange of experience, a joint conference will begin in the very near future.
The guests visited the campus of OSU where they got acquainted with medical faculties, clinics, modern infrastructure, virtual laboratory work and highly appreciated the opportunities created by OSU for training such a modern highly qualified medical personnel.
At the same time, the Andijan colleagues visited the Kyrgyz-Chinese faculty, got acquainted with the electronic management system of the university, the data center, the scientific library and the IT academy.
It should be mentioned that the ASMI has been functioning since 1955. At present, more than 3 thousand students study in 6 directions of medicine at the ASMI.
