Osh, Sept. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Mayor of Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city Almaz Mambetov held a meeting with Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Andrei Strachko.
During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation, including in trade, economic, social, humanitarian and cultural spheres.
Mambetov noted the readiness of the Osh Mayor's Office for a fruitful bilateral cooperation, including the provision of special equipment for Osh municipal enterprises.
Ambassador Strachko emphasized that Belarus actively develops trade and economic relations with Kyrgyzstan, including in the sphere of supplying special equipment of the largest enterprises for the needs of farmers, municipal institutions and enterprises.
"Belarusian companies are ready to participate in all tenders for the supply of special equipment for urban construction and municipal enterprises. We are also actively organizing an assembly of electrical equipment on the basis of Unaa Kurulush enterprise in Osh.
In addition, students from Osh can also apply for a Presidential Grant Program to study at Belarusian universities," the ambassador added.
During the meeting, the sides debated the possibility of holding a joint business forum and exhibition with the participation of Belarusian business circles, the establishment of twinning relations with major cities of Belarus, the supply of hybrid trolleybuses and special equipment for the municipal enterprises of Osh, and the exchange of experience in various areas.
