Our meeting will be held in the spirit of alliance - Jeenbekov’s dialogue with Putin

Bishkek, Mar. 28, 2019. /Kabar/. The dialogue between the leaders of Russia and Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Bishkek was a success. The sides reported it following the negotiations in a narrow and expanded formats.

At the end of the first stage of the meeting, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov opened the meeting in an extended format. First of all, he pointed out that recently the interaction between strategic partners has become closer.

“A number of bilateral high-level meetings have taken place. Recently a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission has been held successfully. Yesterday, the I Forum of Rectors of Russian and Kyrgyz Universities completed its work. A large-scale Interregional Conference is taking place, which is aimed at developing the potential for cooperation between our regions,” Jeenbekov summarized.

The meeting held today, he said, will allow the sides to coordinate actions and determine the next steps in strengthening the cooperation.
