Bishkek, Aug. 24, 2022. / Kabar /. There are currently 406 landfills in Kyrgyzstan, of which only 10% are authorized, Kylychbek Tentimishev, head of the environmental protection department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic told at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
He said that now work is underway to design land for landfills adding that this issue is being resolved jointly with local governments.
