Bishkek, March 22 / Kabar /. Outdoor festival took place in the central square of Karakol on the occasion of Nooruz holiday, the press service of the local government in Issyk-Kul oblast reports.
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov, governor of Issyk-Kul oblast Uzarbek Zhylkybaev and others delivered congratulatory speeches.
In honor of the celebration of the holiday, a theatrical performance of actors of the regional theater named after K. Zhantoshev was organized. Also a competition was organized among yurts.
At the fair, the products of local artisans, producers of consumer goods such as honey, dairy products, bakery products, etc. were also presented. In addition, competitions on national sports were held.
