Bishkek, Nov. 16, 2024 . / Kabar / . Voting is taking place in Kyrgyzstan outside the premises at the elections of deputies of local councils, the Central Election Commission of the republic said.
The election commissions of the country received 9,538 applications for the opportunity to vote outside the premises.
Thus, 3,746 applications were accepted from voters who will not be able to come to the polling stations due to old age, 1979 - due to disability, 3,145 - due to illness and 668 applications were received from representatives of certain categories, i.e. citizens who are at enterprises with a continuous cycle of work (shift work), in in-patient medical and preventive institutions, in places of detention as suspects and accused, as well as military personnel and members of their families, other persons living in military units, and conscripts.
On Nov. 17, elections of deputies of local councils will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
