Outstanding artist of Kazakhstan opens his exhibition in Bishkek

Bishkek, Aug. 6, 2018. / Kabar /. A personal exhibition of Kazakh artist Kuttybek Zhakypov "Melody of the Great Steppe" will open its doors for visitors in Bishkek, director of the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts Yuristanbek Shygaev told at Kabar News Agency.

At the press conference Shygaev briefed about Zhakypov's creative achievements.

The artist is a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1987. His works are kept in the State Museum of the East of Moscow, the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan (Ashgabat), the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan, the State Museum of Turkey, the Atyrau Regional Museum of Local History, and galleries of CIS and foreign countries.

"This work is dedicated to the Nomad Games, which will be held this year, and the 90th anniversary of great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. The exhibition is big, conceptual. The artist has been working on this topic for many years, "added Shygaev.

Guest and host of the upcoming event Zhakypov said that he was very pleased to visit the Kyrgyz land, at the invitation of the museum director, and noted that this come in handy, since all his works are devoted to the life of the nomads.

Tomorrow Bishkek residents and guests of the capital city will be able to see more than 50 tapestries performed in the technique of weaving, felting.

Chairman of the branch of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan Nurlan Shilibayev said that by means of culture the peoples are coming together, since from ancient times the traditions, the way of life of the nomadic people are "close". "The exhibition reflects the moment of nomadic life, traditions, achievements of modern civilization and worldview, cultures of our countries," the guest from the neighboring country said.

The exhibition of Zhakypov will be open tomorrow at 16:00 and last until September 1.

Zhakyp Kuttybek - a bright representative of the applied arts of Kazakhstan, Honored Cultural Worker, Laureate of many International prizes, diplomas, the artist gave a new breath to traditional art, through the prism of modern vision and new concept.
