Over 1.5 thsd citizens in south of Kyrgyzstan received free legal aid

Osh, Dec. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. A decade of free legal aid to the population was held on the eve throughout Kyrgyzstan.

According to preliminary calculations, during the decade organized by the Justice Ministry of the republic, more than 4 thousand people applied to justice agencies, including public notaries for free legal advice.

Preliminary data by regions across south of Kyrgyzstan:

- Osh Oblast - 392;

- Dzhalal-Abad Oblast - 945;

- Batken Oblast - 336;

During the decade, citizens most often applied on issues of inheritance, ownership of real and movable property (pledge, donation, purchase and sale), family law (divorce, division of property, determination of the place of residence of children), criminal law, administrative offenses, social protection (pensions, benefits), land issues (registration of land, obtaining title documents), and issues related to documentation, registration/re-registration, termination of legal activities.

Besides, citizens applied for qualified legal assistance.

In this November, the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic resumed work on providing free legal aid to the population through the Bus Solidarity project.

Population meetings with specialists were held in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological standards due to spread of coronavirus infection in the country.
