Over 16 thsd traffic violations detected in Kyrgyzstan during week

Bishkek, Dec. 23, 2024. /Kabar/. According to preliminary data, 16 thousand 673 violations of traffic rules were recorded in Kyrgyzstan in the period Dec. 16-22.

The Main Department for Traffic Safety reported that of them:

- 473 for driving without proper documents;

- 208 for driving under the influence of alcohol;

- 45 for illegal tinting of car windows;

-151 for traffic violations involving pedestrians;

- 3,030 for motor vehicle violations;

- 28 cases of motor vehicle hooliganism;

- 2,720 cases of exceeding the speed limit;

- 2 cases of driving with false state numbers.

In addition, 10,016 violations of other traffic rules were registered.

2,180 vehicles were taken to the impound lot for violations of various kinds.

The Main Directorate for Road Safety urges drivers and pedestrians to strictly observe traffic rules.
