Over 190 Kyrgyzstanis get Chinese coronavirus vaccine

Bishkek, March 31, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of today, a total of 192 people have been vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan against coronavirus infection, the press service of the country’s Health Ministry reported on Wednesday.

All those vaccinated are health-care workers.

75,000 people will be vaccinated with the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine during the first stage of the vaccination.

Five vaccination cites will be deployed in the capital city of Bishkek, 2 in Chui Oblast and 3 – in Osh city.

In Kyrgyzstan, vaccination against COVID-19 coronavirus infection has started on March 29.

Citizens are offered to get vaccine with Chinese vaccine Sinopharm.

Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and his deputies have received the vaccine first at one of the Family Medicine Centers of the capital on Monday, their state assessed as satisfactory.

The start-up phase of vaccination started in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Chui Oblast.

At the 1st stage, it is planned to vaccinate medical workers with a high and very high risk of infection, working in the red zone, family medical groups; medical workers of emergency ambulances, intensive care units with a high risk of developing severe forms of illness or death; employees of educational organizations, employees of law enforcement and security agencies.
