Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2024. /Kabar/. More than 2,000 employees of the Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are actively involved in ensuring public order and security at polling stations throughout the country as part of the elections of local councils in Kyrgyzstan.
The press service of the Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that in order to prevent possible violations of the law and create conditions for the free and safe expression of the will of citizens, the Ministry of Internal Affairs takes all necessary measures to protect voters and participants in the election process. Security officers ensure security at polling stations, monitor compliance with the law, and promptly respond to any incidents.
The main task is to ensure the legality and transparency of the elections, as well as to create a calm and safe atmosphere for all citizens who come to the polling stations.
