Over 2 thsd citizens returned to Kyrgyzstan from abroad

Bishkek, Apr. 6, 2020./Kabar/.2 thousand 719 Kyrgyz citizens have been returned to their homeland, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliyev told at a briefing.

According to him, several charter flights have been organized to take out Kyrgyzstanis, and evacuation of compatriots from a number of countries was carried out with the assistance of the Kazakh side.

"During the last period, 2 thousand 179 citizens of Kyrgyzstan from such countries as Bulgaria, Russia, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Egypt, India, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Thailand, Turkey, Sri Lanka, etc. were brought to Kyrgyzstan by air transport," he said.

Deputy FM Niyazaliyev added Kyrgyz citizens reside in 42 countries, including Europe, Asia and North America.
