Bishkek, May 11, 2022. / Kabar /. More than 200 travel companies will take part in the Issyk-Kul ITF 2022 tourism exhibition-fair, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Zhamankulov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that within the framework of the exhibition, each region will install its own yurt, where it will tell about the tourism opportunities of the region.
“The solemn opening ceremony of the fair-exhibition will be held on May 13 on the territory of the Rukh Ordo cultural center named after Chingiz Aitmatov with the participation of the country's leadership,” he said.
The annual Issyk-Kul ITF 2022 international tourism exhibition-fair will be held in Cholpon-Ata resort town on May 13-14, 2022.
Within the framework of the exhibition, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the goods and services of travel companies, boarding houses, rest houses and other organizations working in the field of tourism, as well as take part in ethno games, master classes of artisans and watch the evening cultural program.
The event includes holding round tables and B2B meetings, where opportunities for further strengthening multilateral cooperation in the field of tourism and presentation of tourism potential will be considered, the parties can demonstrate their promising projects, products and services, get acquainted with the unique tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and its regions.
Heads and specialists of travel agencies, foreign investors, experts in the tourism industry market, media representatives, as well as representatives of boarding houses, holiday homes, hotels, airlines, as well as foreign guests and partners are invited to participate in this exhibition-fair.
In addition, visitors to the international tourism exhibition will be able to enjoy a concert in which Russian pop stars take part.
The main organizers of the events are the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Tourism, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in Issyk-Kul Region and the Association of Resorts of Kyrgyzstan.
It should be noted that the International Issyk-Kul Marathon of the SCO "Run The Silk Road" and a tourism forum will also be held within the framework of the exhibition.
IITF 2022 is an annual meeting place for international travel companies, tour operators and agencies, representatives of government agencies for tourism development, airlines, hotels, carriers and the media sector.
The purpose of the international exhibition-fair Issyk-Kul ITF 2022 is to restore the country's tourism sector and further develop it, establish business ties between the tourism business of various countries, promote the potential of tourism in the world market, attract foreign tourists for recreation and also promote investment in the tourism sector of the Kyrgyz Republic.
