Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2020. /Kabar/. According to the operational data of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Health, the incidence of influenza is 2.4 times lower compared to the same period last year.
According to Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev, more than 900 thousand people have been identified for preventive vaccination.
"According to the plan, 284,188 people at risk group received a vaccine against influenza at 1-2 stage from September to November. Another 550 thousand people were vaccinated against influenza at the third stage in early December. At this time, the vaccine has been distributed to all regions and cities. A vaccination is ongoing among risk groups in Chui, Talas, Issyk-Kul and Naryn Oblasts and in Bishkek," Usenbayev added.
