Over 4 thsd Kyrgyzstanis received legal assistance as part of 'Solidarity Bus' campaign

Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . A "Solidarity Bus" campaign was held in the period from June 14 to Oct. 8, as a result of which 4,363 citizens of Osh, Chui, Naryn and Batken Oblasts received free legal aid, Deputy Minister of Justice of Kyrgyzstan Orozbek Sydykov said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

"Two mobile groups of lawyers of state-guaranteed legal assistance and specialists of territorial subdivisions of such state bodies as the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Social Fund, State Registration Service, State Agency on Land Resources, State Tax Service were formed to provide legal advice to the population," he said.

Sydykov noted mobile groups were covering two settlements per day.

During the campaign, 51 settlements were covered in Chui, 23 in Naryn, 40 in Batken and 35 in Osh Oblast.

"A total of149 settlements were covered," the official concluded.
