Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2022 . / Kabar / . In the period from 2017-2022, 32,369 cases of road accidents were officially registered in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported Thursday.
4,006 people died in them and 49,639 people were injured.
"There were 28,142 accidents caused by drivers, which is 86.9% of the total number of accidents. Almost 70% of those killed in accidents on the roads are people of the most active working age (25 - 40 years)," the report said.
