Bishkek, April 20, 2022. / Kabar /. 4 thousand 5 units of equipment worth KGS 6 billion 840.1 million have been leased to agricultural producers in Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Agriculture said Wednesday.
According to the data, 229 units of equipment worth KGS 536.6 million were leased in 2020.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, leasing is carried out on the following conditions:
- lease term - up to 10 years;
- interest rate - 6% per annum;
- size of initial installment should make not less than 10 % of the cost of the leased asset in monetary terms;
- if lessee makes payment not less than 10% of leased item cost as a payment of initial installment, additional pledge is not required, leased equipment is considered as a pledge subject;
- insurance of agricultural equipment purchased on credit is performed on a voluntary basis, with the lessee's consent.
