Tashkent, July 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . 124,179 people in Uzbekistan received coronavirus vaccine on July 17. Of them, 98,702 received the first dose, 14,518 the second dose and 10,959 the third shot, the Uzbek Health Ministry’s press service reported Monday.
As of today, a total of 5,645,153 doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Uzbekistan. 1,007,993 people have received the first and second shots of the vaccine. This means that 2.9% of the resident population of the country (34.5 million by the beginning of 2021) or 4.3% of people above 19 years of age (23 million) have been fully vaccinated.
The vaccination process continues.
An anti-record was recorded in Uzbekistan on July 17 - more than 940 cases coronavirus were detected.
478 more people have recovered. Three more people died, bringing the death toll to 796.
The republic’s count of covid infections has reached 119,388, with 114,303 (96%) people fully recovered.
