Bishkek, Sept. 09, 2018. /Kabar/. Over 5 thousand post cards and letters spread all over the world from the Third World Nomad Games, the press service of the Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC reported.
In the offices of the post at the hippodrome and the Kyrchyn ethno-village the personnel of the Kyrgyz Pochtasy help all those wishing to send off impressions about the Nomad Games and beauty of Kyrgyzstan. Tourists from different countries, buying up stamps and post cards, told that sending letters by post is something exciting and fascinating, that is why they became the participants of the Postcrossing Project. Most of all, the guests are amazed at the wonderful landscapes of our homeland, the traditions and culture of the Kyrgyz people, as well as exciting nomad games.
So, Kyrgyzstan joined the world-wide Postcrossing Project — a project created for an opportunity to receive post cards from all over the world. The principle of exchanging post cards is based on the single base of all the project participants and the mechanism of providing addresses, intended to make the difference between sent and received postcards of each of the participants minimal. In addition, in the postcrossing there is a system of indirect exchange, in other words, a participant sending postcards to certain users receives mail from others. According to the latest data, over 676 000 people from 208 countries have signed up for the project.
The Kyrgyz Pochtasy selected its best personnel, who have a command of English, German, Turkish, to work during WNG. The office of the post at the hippodrome provides postal services, sells stamps, unique post cards, and more.
