Over 50 facilities in Osh city closed due to non-compliance with sanitary regulations, 13 fined: deputy mayor

Bishkek, May 12, 2020. /Kabar/. Laboratories, currency exchange offices, pawnshops, construction and food markets have begun operating in Osh, First Deputy Mayor of the city, Head of the Civil Protection Headquarters Sayibjan Turduyev said during a briefing.

According to him, taxi services, construction sites and notaries have resumed their activity earlier.

"Sanitary and epidemiological rules must be observed at all facilities that have resumed operations. Mobile groups of the Mayor's Office have already checked 887 objects, of which 13 have been fined due to non-compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules, and 51 objects have been suspended", said Turduyev.

He noted closed facilities are now working to eliminate problems and the commission will make a decision afterwards.
