Bishkek, June 15, 2023. / Kabar /. In April, 598 kg 30.5 g of gold were exported from Kyrgyzstan to Switzerland, according to data of the National Statistics Committee.
According to data for January-March, 645 kg 255.3 g were delivered to Switzerland during these months. From January to April, the export of precious metals to this country increased to 1 t 243 kg 285.8 g. The increase was 90%.
The entire volume sold to Switzerland in four months is estimated at 78 million 223.9 thousand US dollars. This is an average of 62.9 dollars per 1 g, or 1956.9 dollars per ounce. A price close to the value of gold on the London Stock Exchange.
In total, from January to April, Kyrgyzstan exported 1 t 411 kg 167.9 g for a total of 87 million 922 thousand 749 US dollars:
- China (Hong Kong) - 167 kg 882.1 g in the amount of 9 million 698 thousand 859 dollars. This is an average of $1,796.9 per ounce;
- Switzerland - 1 t 243 kg 285.8 g, or 88% of the total volume.
