Bishkek, Jan. 26, 2021. /Kabar/. On the results of 12 months of 2020, employees of the Main Directorate for Road Safety units of the Kyrgyz Interior Affairs Ministry revealed 510 thousand 897 violations of traffic rules.
According to the press service of the ministry, of these:
- failure to comply with the requirements of road signs and markings, overtaking and maneuvering - 194 thousand 5 facts;
- driving under the influence of alcohol - 8,679 facts;
- delays in passing technical inspection on time - 2 thousand 176 facts;
- driving without the right to drive a vehicle - 3 thousand 83 facts;
- vehicle conversion without proper authorization - 1 thousand 588 facts;
- driving without proper documents - 8 thousand 654 facts;
- violation of speed limits - 72 thousand 45 facts;
- other violations of traffic rules - 220,667 cases.
39,331 cars were taken to a special parking lot.
The Main Directorate for Road Safety of the Interior Ministry urges all road users to respect the rules of the road.
