Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2024 /Kabar/. The official unemployment rate as of August 1, 2024 in Kyrgyzstan was 2.1%, according to the portal of the State Employment Service of the country.
According to data, the number of unemployed people registered with the employment service as of July 1, 2024 was 79.1 thousand people.
The number of officially registered unemployed people was 57.5 thousand.
The number of vacant jobs declared to the employment service as of August 1, 2024 was 14,317 units, among which the demand for blue-collar jobs was predominant.
As of August 1, 2024, 7,848 jobs remained unclaimed, and 10 people applied for one vacant job.
