Issyk-Kul, Sept. 8, 2018 / Kabar /. More than 600 foreign journalists from 56 countries visited the Third World Nomad Games ( III WNG) in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Minister of Culture of Information and Tourism Ainura Temirbekova told at the final press conference.
She said that 604 journalists from 177 foreign media from 56 countries came to Kyrgyzstan to cover Third World Nomad Games.
"This year we made plans that 500 journalists from 50 countries will come. Yesterday we summed up the results, rechecked the number of journalists who arrived and it turned out that they came more than we expected. We think that this is a good result. As every journalist will go to his country, and will make materials about the games and Kyrgyzstan. The organizing committee created good conditions for journalists. We were glad to hear words of gratitude from foreign journalists. There were two press centers in the round-the-clock mode, from where media workers worked," Temirbekova said.
The Third World Nomad Games took place in Issyk-Kul on Sept. 2-8. The closing ceremony of the games will take place today evening, during of which the relay race will be handed over to Turkey, where in 2020 the Fourth World Nomad Games is to be held.
