Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. In the first six months of 2020, 63 thousand 977 crimes and offences were registered with internal affairs agencies throughout the republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
26 thousand 644 crimes and offences were under investigation during the reporting period, of which 14,604, or 54.8 %, were solved.
"In the period under review, out of 10,158 offences in question, 6,300, or 62.0 %, were resolved. Of the violations solved, 3,766 criminal cases were referred to the courts. Reduction in the number of serious and particularly serious crimes, as well as a sharp decline in crime in public places was observed,” the report says.
