Over 65 thsd citizens apply for legal advice since beginning of 2019

Bishkek, Nov.15, 2019. /Kabar/. For 9 months of the current year more than 65 thousand citizens applied for free legal advice, Director of the Center for Coordination of State-Guaranteed Legal Aid under the Ministry of Justice Akzhol Kalbekov told reporters.

He said the most frequently asked questions from citizens are the matters relating to inheritance, land disputes and family low. These data based on the analysis of last year’s ten-day period.

“More than 37 thousand legal advice was provided following the results of the previous year. This year (for 9 months)- more than 65 thousand citizens. This indicates that citizens really need legal assistance,” Akzhol Kalbekov said.

“With regard to civil and administrative matters, we have begun to provide assistance for them as well. We already have results, but there is the shortage of specialists on civil and administrative matters,” the Center director said.
