Bishkek, June 26, 2023. / Kabar /. In January-May 2023, 650,700 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Kyrgyzstan, according to data of the Agency on Statistics of Uzbekistan.
The top 10 countries most often visited by Uzbeks in January-May 2023 also included Tajikistan (422,000 people), Kazakhstan (255,700), Russia (65,100), UAE ( 59,000), Turkey (52,700), Saudi Arabia (24,400), Kuwait (20,700), Egypt (9,100) and Azerbaijan (8,300 people) .
According to the agency, over the past period of this year, 1.6 million citizens of Uzbekistan went abroad for tourism purposes.
