Bishkek, Dec. 27, 2018. / Kabar /. 90 thousand 800 people are registered with the employment services, of which 70 thousand 100 are officially registered as unemployed, Minister of Labor and Social Development Ulukbek Kochkorov told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
Thus, the level of the number of unemployed throughout the country amounted to 2.8% of the economically active population of more than 2.5 million people.
“The number of vacancies declared in the employment services amounted to 24 thousand 400 units. Unfortunately, 5,200 jobs were left unclaimed,” the minister said.
From the beginning of the year, 147 thousand 900 people applied to employment services, 24 thousand 200 people were employed.
