Kyrgyzstan documents over 700 recoveries from COVID-19

Bishkek, May 12, 2020. /Kabar/. Throughout the country, 21 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus have been discharged in the past day, Chief Sanitary Doctor and Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbayev said at a news briefing.

"All their repeated analysis showed negative results. A total of 709 citizens across the country have been cured of COVID-19; they've all been sent home", Usenbayev said.

Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday reported 21 new COVID-19 cases.

So far, the republic has confirmed a total of 1037 coronavirus cases and 12 deaths since the outbreak began in March.
