Over 8 thsd farmers received preferential loans under project on agriculture financing

Bishkek, July 28, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 8 thousand 371 farmers obtained loans under the "Agricultural Financing - 8" project, Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of republic Erkinbek Choduyev said at a briefing.

The amount of soft loans made KGS 4 billion 206 million.

"Also in 2020, more than 204 units of agricultural machinery were leased out of the planned 250 units. In spring, we began implementing the law on state subsidy in seed production. Thus, the seeds worth KGS 9 million 30 thousand were given preferential by 30% below market prices. This work will continue in the autumn-winter period on winter wheat and barley," the minister added.
