Over KGS 94B in taxes collected in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of year

Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of Nov. 25, the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan collected KGS 94 billion 171 million in taxes, Chairman of the Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the republic Altynbek Abduvapov said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

The plan was fulfilled by 102.5%, or exceeded by KGS 2 billion 301.6 million. Compared with the same period of 2020, the income increased by KGS 23.9 billion, KGS 22.3 million growth was observed in comparison with 2019.

"The over-fulfillment of tax targets became possible due to a number of factors. In particular, work was done to improve tax administration, analysis and monitoring of all sectors of the economy, bringing businesses out of the shadows, and the administration of indirect taxes in trade with EAEU member countries.

Abduvapov added the work on the implementation of fiscalization components had a positive impact on both tax administration and the provision of services to taxpayers.

"In particular, revenues to the state budget have increased," he concluded.
