Bishkek, April 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . Pakistan has sent humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan to combat COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said Sunday.
As part of anti-crisis activities aimed at combating COVID-19, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Pakistan has worked on the issue of receiving humanitarian assistance from the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Thus, the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan handed over on Friday humanitarian aid to the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the form of 5 thousand N95 medical masks, 5 thousand protective suits, 5 thousand protective shields with a total weight of 1,400 kg for the needs of public health of the Kyrgyz Republic to fight against coronavirus infection.
"The first batch of humanitarian aid weighing 816 kg was sent to Kyrgyzstan on April 10 this year by a charter flight on the Islamabad-Bishkek route of Aviatraffik Airlines," the report said.
