Bishkek, March 14 / Kabar /. The parliamentary delegation of Kyrgyzstan led by Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Chynybai Tursunbekov met with deputies of Kyrgyzstan-Pakistan parliamentary group of friendship of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
At the meeting, the sides, noting the need to expand cooperation between the parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries, discussed the issues of further deepening the inter-parliamentary partnership, the press service of the parliament reported.
Speaker Tursunbekov said that the experience of Pakistan, which has chosen the way of development of parliamentary democracy, is extremely important for Kyrgyzstan.
"With each passing day, fruitful cooperation between the deputies and parliamentary friendship groups is actively developing. It is extremely important to have a constructive partnership in all areas of mutual interest. In this regard, it is necessary to provide all possible support to all events and projects aimed at expanding inter-parliamentary relations," the Speaker said.
Member of the friendship group "Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan", deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Kubanychbek Nurmatov presented information on the activities of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, as well as on the work carried out within the framework of the inter-parliamentary cooperation of the two states.
Recall that the delegation included deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh Abdumajit Yusurov, Mukhtarbek Ainakulov, Abdimuktar Mamatov, Kubanychbek Nurmatov, Duishon Torokulov, Emil Toktoshev.
