Pamir Alai Hotel in Kyrgyzstan to be included in world's top 5 high-mountain hotels

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . Situated in one of the remote corners of Kyrgyzstan, on the Taldyk Pass in Alay region of Osh Oblast on the Osh-Irkeshtam road at an altitude of 3,450 meters above sea level is Pamir Alai, a unique hotel.

According to the Unison Group, the unusual domed structure has 14 beds in 6 bedrooms with the total area of 270 square meters. Hotel owner Abdirasul Akmatov is already receiving tourists from all over the world who leave pleasant reviews not only about the local natural beauty, but also about the high level of service.

It was very difficult to take a decision to build an unusual high-altitude hotel, because there are no power lines, and the neighboring village of Sary-Tash is a few kilometers away. The owners installed a solar photovoltaic panel for 5kW, and a solar collector to operate the water heater for 250 liters.

“This place is a real innovation. The hotel will be 4-star, all conditions will be created for tourists, and innovative technologies are introduced here all year round with great success. There is wi-fi, Internet, and all this among the mountains at high altitude. Tourists mostly go in the direction of Lenin Peak, stop here and rest. Now the owners are building the second building, which will have even more rooms, and a ski base is planned to operate in winter. The owner also plan to open a children's camp for the summer period," Nurlan Irisov, a consultant for the PERETO Project in Osh said.

The Pamir Alai hotel is located on the Great Silk Road, near the Tajik-Chinese border.
