Pamir Kyrgyz receive material assistance on behalf of President Zhaparov

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2021 . / Kabar /. Minister of Labor, Social Welfare and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev handed over material aid to 17 families of Pamir Kyrgyz who live in Taldy-Suu village of Alai region.

The press service of the Labor Ministry reported that the material assistance was handed over on the behalf of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.

Kudaibergen Bazarbaev noted that there are 108 Pamir Kyrgyz families living in Kyrgyzstan. 17 families are placed in Alai region, the rest are in Naryn and Chui Oblasts.

"The Pamir Kyrgyz have been receiving assistance from the republican budget and sponsors since their resettlement in 2017. On behalf of the president, citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic is granted to the Pamir Kyrgyz on an expedited basis.

The head of the state allocated each family 10 heads of sheep, one calf and one horse. Local government builds barns for cattle, buys fodder totaling 850 thousand soms, provides food and coal. The Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare and Migration assigned allowances to children and old age pensions. 41 children attend school," said Kudaibergen Bazarbaev.

The minister transferred to each family 160 kilograms of flour, 55 kilograms of pasta, 53 kilograms of sugar, 12 liters of vegetable oil, 3 kilograms of rice, tea, as well as winter jackets and children's shoes.

The event was also attended by representatives of local authorities, employees of the social unit of Alai region.
