Para-judoka of Kyrgyzstan becomes Asian champion

Bishkek, April 29, 2023. /Kabar/. Members of the Kyrgyz team in Paralympic judo won 5 medals at the Asian Championship in Astana.

According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the athletes won 1 gold and 4 bronze medals.

Judoka Hayitkhon Khusan kyzy competed in the 48 kg weight category and in the finals defeated her rival from Uzbekistan with a score of 10:0, becoming the champion of Asia.

Also athlete Regina Salamatova (48 kg) won the bronze of the championship.

Among men in the weight category up to 60 kg athletes Alikhan Zhumagulov, Temirlan Abdukarimov and up to 73 kg – Mamatibragim Suranov won bronze medals.
