Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Paralympian Azizbek Zamirbek uulu became the bronze medalist of the World Powerlifting Cup, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports reported.
The tournament among persons with muscle-skeleton disorders was held in the city of Dubai (UAE), in which 209 athletes from 39 countries took part.
16-year-old Zamirbek uulu competed among juniors in the weight category up to 54 kg. First he lifted 70 kg weight with ease . In the second attempt he raised 75 kg, but the judges did not count it. For the final time, the Kyrgyzstani handled the weight.
Brazilian Kruzato Marcos Gabriel (98 kg) won the gold medal, second place was taken by the representative of the United Arab Emirates Albalushi Osama (80 kg).
The tournament will end on Tuesday, February 12th.
